In Fasano, around an hour away drive with the car from Bari, finding the Zoosafari was truly a fascinating experience. Zoosafari Park, consists two parts, the drive-through experience with your own car and the amusement park combined with the zoo.
Arrival at the Zoosafari in Fasano
When you will arrive, it is automatically that the signs lead you to the ticket booth with the car to buy the tickets and follow the path to the gate to enter the drive-through Zoo.
At the entrance gate, to begin with, the Zookeepers give us a veggie bag, to feed the animals. The Zoosafari have a lot of different kind of animals, which the animals are in freedom of their own space. The animals are very close to the car. Eventually feeding them will attract them more to come by the window of your own car.
The Drive-Through
Certain parts of the zoo were very intense. Although this may be true lions, tigers and bear are freely caged with sectioned gates for them not to get away. All things considered, in the drive through you will pass very closely with them. Importantly you have to keep safe, especially when taking photographs and video. In the zoo, it is stated to keep your windows closed. One does not know when an animal can attack. Eventually, these are very extremely interesting and amazing to visit, as it is a rare occasion to see wild animals live.
Along the Zoosafari there will be the zookeepers accordingly to control the vehicles and observe the visitors behaviour. It is important that the visitors have to follow the instructions given by the experts so that there will be control all the way.
After the drive-through ended one will be directed to park the vehicle in their parking and straightaway continue the amusement park combined with the zoo by walk.
The Amusement Park
This part is featured with a train ride to visit the polar bear, hippopotamus, monkeys and ducks. The amusement park also contains a cage ride train to enter near the monkeys. It was scary but kind of fun experience. It is a safe ride but one has to keep a note that the monkeys climb all over the train ride, so you might
Hence I visited the Zoosafari in an offseason month, the park was not crowded and the amusement park was closed so a walk through was quite enough and also relaxing.
Generally speaking, if you will visit southern Italy, Puglia, have your own or rented car, I highly recommend the Zoosafari in Fasano has not to be missed.
