Be Prepared
Research. Read public reviews. Ask relatives and friends who have been to you destination for advice and suggestions.
Check your passport.
Book your flight tickets. I use SkyScanner. (Read the tips about it)
Book Accommodation. I use booking.com and airBNB.
Consider Travel insurance. You can never control world events or weather. Travel insurance gives protection to you for certain coverage. Such as flight cancellation, illness, baggage delay or loss, or unexpected events. (Always read their terms and conditions of the package)
Set a realistic budget. Always leave extra cash for any unexpected expenses. Figure out as many of the costs before hands.
Plan your vacation but never plan too much. Travel has the greatest thing that it will give you opportunity for the unexpected.
Pack your luggage. Make a list ‘what to pack’, as it will help you feel organize and ensure you won’t forget anything.
Set and Go
Depends the airline – Check if they offer food on board. If not, prepare a snack to take with you. Eat and rest on your flight.
At your destination – Respect local manners and don’t judge things you see that are different back home. Enjoy and learn their culture and think how interesting they are.
Take pictures. Invest in a good camera. This will keep your travel memories memorable.
